Rolling on: Aggies Roll over NSU

New Mexico State had five players score in double figures as the Aggies beat Norfolk State 107-84 Thursday night at the Pan American Center

Tyrone Nelson came off the bench to score 19 on 8 of 10 shooting and grabbed 8 rebounds for the Aggies (9-3). Justin Hawkins finished with 18 points while pulling down 9 rebounds. The Aggies (9-3) had their way on offense against the Spartans, scoring at least 100 points for the third time this year and for the second straight game.

New Mexico State shot 63.9 percent from the field, had five players in double figures and made 9 of 18 3-pointers as Theus substituted liberally throughout as the Aggies won their eighth straight game and improved to 8-0 at home.

NMSU's streak is its longest since winning eight straight during the 1998-1999 season
