After three straight losses to Lousiana Lafayette over the weekend, the UTSA Baseball team got back to its winning ways on Tuesday evening at the Birdbath downing UT Pan American 7-1.

Early on this season UTSA Baseball’s success has been directly correlated to its offensive. On Tuesday afternoon, it was the pitching that took center stage.

Freshman pitcher Nolan Trabanino dominated. The newcomer from Friendswood, Texas pitched a brilliant game going seven and a third innings, giving up 1 run on just 4 hits.

Outfielder Riley Good led the way offensively for the ‘Runners going 4 for 4 scoring 2 runs and adding 1 RBI. Infielder RJ Perucki also continued playing well offensively going 3 for 3 scoring 3 runs and adding 2 RBIs.

UTSA improves to 6-3 on the season and will host the UTSA Classic at Nelson Wolff Stadium beginning Friday. Omaha, Penn State, and Stephen F Austin all come to town for the tournament.
