REPORT: UI to hire Arkansas OC Paul Petrino

MULTIPLE SOURCES ARE NOW REPORTING that Arkansas offensive coordinator PAUL PETRINO will be announced as the next head football coach at the University of Idaho. His career includes OC stops at Arkansas (2008-09, '12), Illinois (2010-11), and Louisville (2003-06). In 2007 he spent one season with the Atlanta Falcons. Idaho has an official press conference scheduled for Monday at 1:30 pm PST.

Multiple sources, including ESPN, CoachingSearch.com and CBS Sports, are reporting that Arkansas offensive coordinator Paul Petrino has been hired as the next head football coach at Idaho.

His coaching resume includes stints as the offensive coordinator at Arkansas, Illinois, and Louisville, and assistant coaching stops at Southern Miss, Utah State, and Idaho (1992-94). He also spent one season coaching receivers with the Atlanta Falcons.
